Prof. Esra Ar\u0131kan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Researchers: <\/strong>Assoc. Prof. Ne\u015fenur Alt\u0131ni\u011fne, Dr. Ebru Kuzgun<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on attribution and anthropomorphism theories, this project investigates whether and how consumers respond differently based on the service provider agent (SPA) types (human, humanoid, and non-humanoid) in terms of attributional processes, forgiveness, and satisfaction in the presence and absence of recovery after a service failure. The project results were published in the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-neve-link-hover-color-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-f78293decc0e71f2cae3701ea7d694ec\"><strong>TUBITAK 1001 Project ID: 120K323<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>COVID-19 and Society<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Title: <\/strong>Investigation of the Relationship Between Consumption Habits and Vulnerability in Access to Resources with Self-Regulation in Consumption During the Coronavirus Precautions Period: Determining the Impact of Psychological Well-Being, Individual Resilience, Social Capital, and Prosocial Behaviors and Developing Policy Recommendations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Coordinator:<\/strong> Prof. Elif Karaosmanoglu<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project aims to observe the effect of the change in the consumption habits of vulnerable and non-vulnerable consumer groups on the psychological well-being of consumers during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond. Then, the mechanisms that will enable the psychological well-being of consumers to create individual and social capital and exhibit pro-social behaviors will be examined and their effects on self-control mechanisms in consumption in the future will be tested. This study aims to reveal the roles and mechanisms of vulnerable and non-vulnerable consumption groups in protecting economic resilience in possible future crisis periods in our country and suggest appropriate measures for COVID-19.
